IT'S MONDAY!..WHAT ARE YOU READING AND MUSING MONDAY

I am doing two reading memes today. I couldn't decide which one to do so am doing them both. J. Kaye is hosting It's Monday! What are you Reading and Rebecca is hosting Musing Mondays. You should check them both our. They have some great books and some storage ideas.

IT'S MONDAY! WHAT ARE YOU READING?

Last week I read 3 books:
The Swiss Family Robinson - Johann Wyss
A Treasury of Peter Rabbit and other stories - Beatrix Potter
Austenland - Shannon Hale

This wee I am reading 2 books:
Skybreaker - Kenneth Oppel
Until You - Bernice Small

I also finished 2 reading challenges last week. Childhood Favorites and Books into Movies.

MUSING MONDAY

Do you keep track of what and/or how many books you read? How long have you been doing this? What's your favorite tracking method, and why?If you don't keep track, why not? (question courtesy of MizB)

Yes, I keep track of my books I read. Here at my blog and I also have a diary. I list all my books and when I finish them I mark them out. I also have them on my hard drive on my computer. Which is my favorite? I think the diary is my favorite. I can actually see the progress I am making. That is where I keep track of my reading challenges. The one on my hard drive just has the book covers and the names of the books. My diary has them listed by challenge. I think I am going to try and put all my books into a database on my hard drive. But haven't gotten around to that yet. Maybe this summer when I am off work.

A diary is a great way to keep track of everything you're reading! I love lists -- and have them everywhere. The lists on my blog are my preferred method of organization! :)

Thanks for stopping by. I'm going to have to check out the What Are You Reading Meme.

I'm a list kind of girl too. I like to see progress and check things off! Since mine is on a spreadsheet I have a column to put an X when I've read it so I can still "mark it off." :o)

I don't keep up with my written journal of reading, but do well on the spreadsheet. I started out listing books read for challenges, but didn't keep up with it. So much to do!
