Well, I am not writing about books today. I watch t.v. shows on the internet. Several of them as a matter of fact. I saw the 2 hour finale of Lost yesterday. I know everyone has already saw it. The show has been on for 6 years, and I've seen every episode. I've been following Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Ben, John, and all the others on the show. Hoping they would get off that d..m island. They had been shot, shot at, beat up, held prisoner and just about everything else you could think of.
I was very DISAPPOINTED in the ENDING of this series. This is a SPOILER if you haven't seen it so don't go any further.

The thing is, for this 6 years I've been watching this I was for sure this was real, they were real. To find out this whole time that they were really DEAD! This whole series was based on these people and they were DEAD. They didn't realize it and had to let go. Is that a bummer!!! As I said I'm totally DISAPPOINTED with the way the producers, executives and writers ended this show!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it's just a bad season for season and series finales >.<

I really don't think they all died on the island at all. Christian told Jack at the end that everything that happened on the island really happened. Jack died on the island after killing the smoke monster, and Kate and Sawyer left the island.
The sideways world was when they were dead, living the life they wished they had lead, until they were ready to move on, after contact with their constant.
The writers have stated that the island was real - they weren't dead the whole time. Only the sideways reality in this final season was the part where they were dead and needed to move on - everything else really happened.
