REVIEW - THE LAST UNICORN

This book is for 2 of my reading challenges.

"The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle
Product Description(Amazon.com)
From The Last Unicorn:
"The unicorn lived in a lilac wood, and she lived all alone. She was very old, though she did not know it, and she was no longer the careless color of sea foam, but rather the color of snow falling on a moonlit night. But her eyes were still clear and unwearied, and she still moved like a shadow on the sea..."
Paperback: 304 pages
Publisher: Roc Trade (January 1, 1991)
Language: English

ISBN-13: 978-0451450524

MY THOUGHTS: I loved reading this book. Beagle's writing took me on a magical trip. Beagle tells an amazing tale, of love and loss, of heartache and hope. This book is about magic. Joy. Sadness. Beauty. If you want to read a good fairy tale this is the book to read. Does the unicorn find more unicorns? You'll have to read the book to find out.

MY RATING: 8-12

We owned this movie when I was a kid and I know it's one of my youngest sister's favorite books, though I haven't read it myself. Glad you enjoyed it!

This is one of my favorite movies from my childhood, and my daughter loves it. I have the book on my shelf, waiting for me to have a chance to read it. Hopefully soon! I'm encouraged now!
